This is the official Privacy Policy of the Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (hereinafter referred to as IRBA) who is the registered owner and copyright holder of the web domain "irba.co.za".

  1. Session variables set and used for access control for site administration and the Committee Area only.
  2. Cookies are set and used for site administration only. Cookies are not used for visitors and/or Committee Members. 
  3. Personally identifiable information (in the form of a "return address") is gathered via email sent to the Contact email addresses on the "Contact Us" page. This information is used by us in accordance with the nature of the content of the email correspondence. We will not honour any requests to pass such information on to a third party. 
  4. We do not share personal information with any third parties. 
  5. We reserve the right to use Server Log Files. This includes the gathering of internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks to analyse trends, administer the site, track visitor's movements in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information.
